Frequently Asked Questions

What is the dress code?

We want everyone to have fun, so wear what makes you feel good. Santa Fe is a very casual town, so formal wear is not necessary.

What is the weather in Santa Fe?

Santa Fe weather can be changeable. There may be rain showers in the late afternoon or early evening (the monsoons). It is very dry here, so hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! The sun is also very strong; sunscreen is a must.

What about the altitude?

Santa Fe is at 7500 feet and is considered high desert. This means that it will be harder for you to breathe if you are from somewhere at sea level. You may have to take things more slowly than usual. Take breaks and drink lots of water.

What about gifts?

No gifts. In lieu of gifts, feel free to donate to www.manymothers.org and https://victoryinstitute.org

Will there be vegan/vegetarian/gluten-free options?

Yes.

Is there parking at and transportation to the venue?

Gerald Peters Contemporary has a parking lot with about 20 spaces. There are also open parking lots across the street. Uber and Lyft drivers are available, especially on the weekends, but it may take some time to get one. Hotels often have shuttles.

For the Friday event, there is parking on our street. Please save the driveway parking for the caterers and those with limited mobility.

Can I post party photos on social media?

Photographers will be at the party and will post photos to this website; guests are also encouraged to take and post photos with the hashtag #margonancy50

If you have concerns about this, please let Margo and Nancy know before the party.

Are the venues wheelchair accessible?

Margo & Nancy’s house: There are a dozen steps down to get to our front door. However, our house is accessible through the garage with only one step.

Gerald Peters Gallery: Accessible
