We would like to take a moment to acknowledge all of you who made this party a celebration.
First, thank you to everyone who had to travel to get here. We hope the events, Santa Fe, and the mountains made it worth your while.
We really appreciate all of our Santa Fe friends who were asked to weigh in on venues, flowers, music, food, nametags, and all the other myriad decisions that go into planning an event like this.
Some of our friends took on important tasks. Thank you Jean McCray for playing and arranging for musicians to play during our cocktail hour. She learned to play the sax later in life and is my go-to-person for questions about jazz.
Wendy Neufeld helped us create our spreadsheet and website. She is a patient teacher and an amazing problem solver. Any mistakes are ours, not hers.
Debora Ratliff created the roadrunner on our tote bags and gave us permission to use the image. She is an incredible artist, photographer, and friend.

This event would not have come together as it did without Johanna Frenz, our event planner. She grew up in Santa Fe, seems to know everyone, and had the patience to answer questions, discuss our concerns, and alleviate our (Margo’s) panic.
